1. Perimeter Intrusion Detection System – PID
Acting as the outermost line of defense, PIDS is installed along the boundary (Perimeter) to detect anomalies and immediately alert security personnel of any unauthorized entry. This allows for rapid intervention before a threat reaches the primary facility, making it ideal for large-scale sites.
2. Turnstiles
Upon entering the building, the Lobby serves as a critical screening point. Turnstiles are integrated with Access Control Systems (such as facial recognition or card readers) to permit entry to only one person at a time (anti-pass back). This effectively prevents unauthorized individuals from tailgating into the workspace.
3. Revolving Doors
For facilities that require high security coupled with architectural elegance, Revolving Doors are the ideal choice. In addition to managing orderly foot traffic, they can be integrated with access control systems to strictly prevent tailgating into secure zones.
4. High-Security Mantrap Doors
Designed for “Critical Zones” requiring maximum security, such as Data Halls or secure vaults. The Mantrap system features an interlocking 2-door system where only one door can open at a time. Equipped with weight sensors or 3D optical cameras, it ensures rigorous identity verification, providing the highest level of protection against unauthorized access.
5. Bollards
Bollards are essential for controlling vehicular access and mitigating threats within Hyperscale Data Centers. SITEM offers both Non-Crash Rated and Crash-Rated Bollards, available in Static, Automatic, and Shallow Mount configurations to suit specific site constraints, security levels, and project requirements.
6. Security Gates
Typically installed at the Main Entrance, Security Gates manage vehicular access through various functional modes, including Vehicle Traps, Emergency Gates, Reject Gates, and Acceptance Gates. SITEM provides both Non-Crash Rated and Crash-Rated options in Bi-Folding and Sliding Gate designs.
7. Road Blockers
Road Blockers prevent unauthorized vehicle intrusions at main entry points or high-security zones. These systems operate by raising a heavy-duty steel plate from the ground to obstruct the path. SITEM provides both Non-Crash Rated and Crash-Rated Road Blockers that integrate seamlessly with automated access control systems.
8. Fences / Anti-Climb Fences / Crash-Rated Fences
Security fencing systems for hyperscale data centres are designed to provide effective perimeter protection, helping prevent unauthorized access and enhance security for critical infrastructure.
